The operation principle of this v shape air flow meter is the same with other differential pressure flow meter, and it is also a kind of throttling differential pressure flow meter, both of which are in conformity to law of conservation of mass(continuity equation) and law of conservation of energy (bernoulli's equation) in closed pipelines.
The concept to throttle the fluid to the place around central axis of pipeline has been changed fundamentally to throttling the fluid to the inner wall of the pipeline, taking advantage of coaxially mounted V-shaped pointed cone. Measure the flow through measuring the differential pressure between the front and the rear part of the V-shaped cone. Under the condition of steady flow, the flow velocity and the radiation of differential pressure are in direct proportion with each other.
Basing on the measurement principle of Venturi tube, the endosiphuncular tube has made radical change to the traditional Venturi tube and it is a new generation throttling device incorporating Venturi tube, annular orifice plate and wear-resisting orifice plate.
This v cone air flow meter can be used for almost all the medium of gas, liquid and steam.
